These facials are often referred to as the ‘non-surgical’ facelift because a series of treatments result in firmer, more youthful skin of the face and neck. Microcurrent technology uses electrical current to stimulate muscle, adenosine triphosphate (APT) cell growth, and collagen development in the dermis.

What are the benefits of microcurrent
- Increase in Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) – This technology, used in a series, has shown to increase ATP by 500%. ATP is defined as the energy of the cell that is needed for the production of collagen and elastin.
- Smoother, firmer skin–Works on the muscles of the face but is also working on the skin. Consistent use increases the collagen/elastin in the skin, increasing hydration and the ATP (energy) of the skin, resulting in smoother, firmer skin.

Microcurrent facials are generally very safe however should be avoided if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or metal implants, or have active acne or open sores.
