Neurotoxin to soften expression lines and prevent future wrinkles

Neurotoxin, often referred to as botox or wrinkle relaxers, is an excellent treatment option to create a smooth, youthful face specifically reducing unwanted facial wrinkles caused by expression. Rytualist uses three different neurotoxin products that are proven safe and effective – BotoxCosmetic®, Xeomin®, and Dysport®. All are FDA approved and effectively relax the underlying muscle structure that creates wrinkling of the skin surface. We use neurotoxin most frequently on the eye brow (glabella), forehead, around the eyes (crow’s feet), on the ridge of the nose (bunny lines), on the border of the lips (perioral wrinkles along the vermillion border), and neck. There is no downtime and minimal discomfort and risk.

Lip Flip

Achieve the appearance of a fuller top lip by injecting a few units of botox just above the upper lipline to contract the muscle and cause it to gently roll out and up. Do it alone OR add to lip fillers for best results for thinner lips.

Massater

Relieve jaw tension and teeth grinding with botox injected into the massater muscles, which helps temporarily relax the muscle. This treatment also helps slim the lower portion of the face for a softer profile. Usually treated every 4-6 mos.

Control Sweating

Excessive sweating can be controlled by the use of botox injected in and around the sweat glands. We offer treatment for arm pits, hairline.

Neck Bands/Platysmal

Botox is very effective to relax and smooth the harsh vertical, tendon-like muscles that appear on our necks as we age. These untreated muscles may also exaggerate the pulling of our lower face and jowl area over time.

DAO/Marionette Frown

DAO (Depressor Anguli Oris) is the muscle group that controls the frowning movement in the lower face. Over time, this causes the mouth to turn downward. Releasing these muscles with botox reverses the static ‘frown’, for a more youthful look.
